Why I Participate
I have been working with filmmaker Jason Pollock, Director of 'The Youngest Candidate' since September 2008. Since then we have screened the film hundreds of young people across the country inspiring them to take action in their local communities and run for office.
About Me
I also worked as an intern for the Barack Obama Campaign for Change on Michigan State's campus leading up to the general election. I met so many fantastic people during that experience and I now serve as the Communications Director for MSU College Democrats. I hope to continue working in politics as a Community Organizer and Youth Activist. I really enjoy working with young people. They have so much potential and unbridled energy!
My Interest
I love discovering and supporting local/ independent artists, musicians, and filmmakers. The deeper I dive into politics to more I begin to take note of just how important our artistic communities are in shaping the political agenda of our country on both local and national levels.
