Charity:Water: Scott Harrison's September Birthday
Last year, Scott Harrison’s birthday pledge to accept donations instead of birthday presents helped build a wells in Kenya, bringing clean drinking water to those who needed it most. This year, he hopes for more. Scott, founder of Charity:Water, is encouraging everyone who’s birthday is in September to ask for donations, in lieu of gifts, for their birthdays. The “September” Project has set a goal of raising 1.5 million dollars to help provide clean drinking water to a total of 150,000 people in Ethiopia.
He’ll be asking all of his friends to donate $33 in honor of his 33rd birthday. Do you or any of your friends have a birthday in September?
