Painkillers 'cut breast cancer'

Research published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute has shown that regular use of over-the-counter painkillers reduces the risk of breast cancer. Painkillers are shown to inhibit the chemicals that produce inflammation and play a significant role in the development of cancer.
The research is a bit of a double-edged sword: use of painkillers can cut the risk of breast cancer by 13%, but extended use of painkillers can result in serious side-effects. Dr Mahyar Etminan, leader researcher from the University of British Columbia said, “We don’t recommend the routine use of NSAIDs for breast cancer prevention until large randomized trials confirm these findings.”
Would you be willing to endure side-effects such as stomach ulcers if the drugs ultimately reduced your risk of breast cancer?
